I have colleagues all over the world! The benefits of the digital era are amazing, allowing me to reach them by phone or email wherever they are. There’s nothing wrong with that, but there are other things to gain from meeting face to face, don’t you think?

Meeting global expectations

When you work within a global organization there are expectations not only on you but also on the organization. All employees must know about and understand the corporate culture; they should feel as though they are part of the same team, working towards the same goal, and meeting the customer’s demands, in the same way, no matter where they are in the world.

Everyone knows the company values

It is also extremely important to the corporate brand. A company’s individual “brand” is loaded with values and we want to live up to the expectations of our customers, suppliers and partners.

Troax’s values are Customer focus, Respect and Cooperation, which of course are the core of the entire organization. In order to achieve this, everyone has to learn and understand "The Troax Way", and this is accomplished using various methods. One method – (and a very important one!!) is a two-day seminar we arrange every year called the “Troax Training Center”, where both new and old colleagues meet and interact.

We work in a uniformed way - We are Troax!
A customer will get the same response and service no matter which sales office they contact. We all work for the same company, therefore, a Troax employee will reflect the company's values and give the same service regardless of who we are or where the contact is taken - this allows us to keep CUSTOMER FOCUS.

Troax Training Center boosts morale on a global scale!
Attendees leave this training session with their heads held high. We – as individuals and as a corporation - are strengthened by each other, enabling us to maintain our high ethical standards, integrity and professionalism in everything we do. It’s all about RESPECT because we care about people.

This year I was one of the speakers, last year one of the attendees, and both occasions were a very positive experience and a morale booster.

With the right mix of people, you get interesting and open discussions. It’s important to share ideas on how to be confident, to learn about our products, and how to provide the very best service possible to our customers. That’s why this forum’s been created - COOPERATION is key to our success – and I personally think it’s essential in developing and growing the business.

Last week I actually got to meet twenty-four of our worldwide colleagues and I feel really privileged. Ten different countries were represented when they visited Troax in Hillerstorp, Sweden to attend the Troax Training Center.

At the end of the day (and this blog), the main thing for ANY employee is to feel that we all add value to both the organization and our customers, and this is exactly what a successful Training Center achieves.
