Data Centre Containment Solutions

Controlled environments for efficient cooling

Troax air containment solutions support efficient thermal management by controlling airflow around servers and separating hot and cold air streams.

Maintaining cooling efficiency to protect server performance

As computing capacity increases, efficient heat removal helps cooling systems manage rising thermal loads, maintain safe operating temperatures, and minimise the risk of downtime caused by server overheating.

Troax containment systems help stabilise server inlet temperatures by creating dedicated airflow paths. By directing cooling-system supply air towards server inlets and containing hot exhaust air, they improve cooling efficiency and reduce the mixing of hot and cold air streams.

  • Separate cold supply air from hot exhaust air
  • Manage access to the contained aisle
  • Choose modular solutions designed to suit your evolving needs

Maintain stable cooling across critical IT environments

Troax provides modular containment systems that can be adapted to any server rack configuration. Available as both cold air and hot air containment, the enclosures enable airflow control tailored to your cooling requirements.

Cold Air Containment (CAC)

The Cold Air Containment (CAC) system is constructed from lightweight aluminium panels and doors designed to integrate with any server rack or cabinet, enabling custom aisle lengths and widths.

The enclosure contains cold air within the aisle while allowing hot exhaust air to return to the surrounding room, where it is recirculated to the cooling system.

  • Effective cold air containment in the aisle
  • Modular structure tailored to your needs
  • Controlled access to the servers

Hot Air Containment (HAC)

The Hot Air Containment (HAC) system features lightweight aluminium panels and doors that can be integrated with a wide range of server racks and cabinets. Its flexible design makes it possible to customise both aisle length and width to suit the available space.

The enclosure creates a controlled airflow path by supplying cold air from the surrounding environment or below the racks, containing hot exhaust air and directing it through the chimney structure for evacuation above the aisle.

  • Effective heat removal
  • Modular structure tailored to your needs
  • Controlled access to the servers
