Troax locking devices integrate with machine guarding doors and panels to ensure that only authorised personnel can access machinery for maintenance. These access restriction solutions consist of a physical door lock combined with a safety switch that cuts power, ensuring machinery remains safely stopped throughout maintenance operations.

Our most advanced solution, the Safe Lock, combines access restriction with integrated protection for the safety switch. Impact-tested to withstand forces of up to 1,600 joules, it ensures the door remains securely closed in the event of a collision or impact. During maintenance, a padlock can be fitted to keep the door open, preventing accidental closure while ensuring power remains isolated. The Safe Lock is capable of achieving Performance Level e GL, the highest performance level for machine safety control systems as defined in the ISO 13849-1 standard.

The Safe Escape Lock embeds a cylinder lock to provide stronger access control. It can be provided with a handle or with a simple knob to make a key necessary to enter. This system can be provided with a panic bar to facilitate exit.

The Magnetic Lock, combined with safety switches, provides a cost-effective and easy-to-install solution for controlling access to low-risk machinery. Compatible with a wide range of safety switches, it offers a high degree of flexibility to suit different applications and ergonomic requirements.
